Functional Golf Training

It was over 30 years ago in a dead-end job that I came to realize my yearning to make a difference in people’s lives. When I was a child I sustained an injury which left me with physical limitations in my right hand & arm. That was the intrinsic motivation that gave me the desire to help individuals with similar physical issues.

I decided to go back to school to obtain a graduate degree in exercise science and become an Athletic Trainer. That gave me the Sports medicine and rehabilitation skills I needed. Working in outpatient physical therapy for 15 years gave me  immense experience in preventing injuries and helping people rehab from physical injuries.

I eventually moved into fitness to apply my knowledge in the prevention of injuries and to focus on helping older individuals move and function better. It was at this time that I began to utilize a unique system of pain and restriction relief called Total Motion Release.

I also use Applied Functional Science principles as a basis of the functional training exercises I use with all my fitness clients. It can easily be learned by utilizing virtual coaching sessions and the educational exercise platform I use.

My Functional Training Philosophy

  • To teach my clients how to improve their symmetry and function for a better quality of life

this is what some of mark's
clients have to say!

I have had shoulder pain, groin pain, and even knee pain from time to time. I work with Mark Tolle in lieu of physical therapy, and he has helped me alleviate the discomfort. He uses functional training exercises and is knowledgeable in a specific technique that he has taught me to help heal myself. I was skeptical but it truly works. I call him Mr. wizard!

I started working with Mark Tolle about 2 years ago, and it was one of the smartest things I have done for my body. He not only helped me recover from back surgery and a hip replacement, he continues to get me stronger and keeps me walking. Thanks to Mark I continue to be as active as possible.

I have worked with Mark for almost a year. He has been a tremendous help to me. He worked with me to develop a program involving posture, strength and flexibility. I have had significant improvements in each of these areas. The program and exercises has resulted in decreased pain with daily activities, and I have been able to play golf again.

I play a lot of tennis and a little golf. Mark's recommended exercises have helped me increase power and balance on both the court and the links. I'm also enjoying quicker recovery time and better overall fitness.
